Biography

Katerina Taxia is a Canadian actor whose work spans television, film, theatre, and voice performance.

She has appeared in several acclaimed television series, including a recurring role in The Expanse, where she played Kaitlin, and the Emmy-winning drama The Handmaid's Tale as Aunt Rebecca. Her television credits also include appearances on Pretty Hard Cases, What We Do in the Shadows, and earlier in her career, Fringe.

Her film work includes roles in the Netflix features Awake and Slumberland, as well as television films such as Stolen by Their Father and The Lemonade Stand Romance.

Earlier in her career she appeared in the television film Wild Iris opposite Gena Rowlands and Laura Linney.

Trained at The Second City, Katerina performed in the long-running interactive comedy production Tony n' Tina's Wedding, originating the role of Tina.

She also portrayed Cleopatra in Discovery Channel documentaries exploring the legendary Egyptian ruler, which aired in more than 130 countries worldwide.

In voice performance, she contributed to Assassin's Creed Odyssey as Otonia and additional characters.
